Our family is just completing our fifth transaction with Kathy. She is very attentive to her work and extremely well versed in both real estate sales and real estate purchases. We have worked with her on both sides. When selling your home, she meets with you to discuss the comps so you can see a range for the sale price. After you have set your price, she advises you on how to prepare your home for the sale, stages your home ( if needed), places signs to emphasize the positive features of the home and sets a date to list it. She then plans to start your sales period with an open house and showings. In our most recent transaction, a sales, our properly priced home took in two at or above offers in three days. I attribute that to the attention and expertise that Kathy offers. Her work doesn’t stop there. She led us through the transaction to the closing with her continued knowledge and compassion. I had the good fortune of dealing with Kathy Young recently to help me sell my elderly father’s co-op unit. I live about 200 miles away so was not always available to do the ‘little things’ which are ‘big things’ when it comes to presenting a property for sale. Kathy was always very prompt and responsive. She gave me suggestions on what to do/not do and options on whether to re-paint/remodel or sell ‘as-is’. I went with the re-model and Kathy helped me pick out paint, carpeting, flooring and even went to the store to buy an oven for me!
